My husband and I worked overseas, in a very difficult country with little freedom.  When we came back to South Africa, we had to resettle and find our own space and place in our own culture again.  We bought a house and because we longed for beautiful paintings in the house, I started with art classes.  I had never done any painting before, and therefore I took on the challenge to paint my own paintings for our house.

I also realized that it helped me a lot with re-entry into South Africa, just to take the time to enjoy the beauty of colour and see how the picture in my hand take on its own beauty on canvas. This helped with my inner healing.

As a reborn Christian, I believe that we must always be ready to help where the Father leads us.  I believe that CRN is in the will of the Father. His heart is to restore and renew hope to the lost and needy people of this world.
